We have increased the strength of the casting by making thicker walls and creating huge over-sized gussets. A special retainer ring securely stabilizes the main bearing to prevent bearing play. Installation requires an additional top shifting Toyota gear-driven transfer case, drive shaft modifications, and floorboard modifications. Assembled dual adapter unit is 6.5" long. In stock and ready to ship.

LROR's Silverback HD 4140 Chromoly Axles for the Toyota Pickup / 4Runner are like the name implies- Strong!  These are made from high grade heat treated 4140 chromoly steel.   Many axles have their drawbacks by poor design and large stress risers. Not here! These are made for heavy duty usage and for off road ability.  Also highly recommended when installing a Spartan, Lockrite, ARB, Grizzly, Zip, Auburn, Eaton, Aussie or Kaiser Locker.

Features:

-Heat Treated 4140 Chromoly.  Why not 4340?  It has been used in the past on Rear Axles and has proven to be weak.  For the fatigue resistance and characteristics of 4140, we chose to manufacture them out of what has proven to be the strongest!  Some large name manufacturers have scaled back to 4140 and had less breakages than with 4340. We could have made them out of whatever we wanted, but these have proven to be the strongest!

-30 Spline Shaft for easy installation into your factory spider gears or into an aftermarket locker.

-Uses factory rear wheel bearings and seals as well as factory axle studs for ease of installation and cost effective installation.

Toyota Hilux Transfer-case E-Brake

Need an E-brake? Have bad cables, or a disk brake conversion? We have the answer with our simple and affordable Toyota T-case E-Brake Kit. It can be installed in under 1 hour and is fully bolt on. You do have to remove the t-case output flange in order to clearance the dust seal cover.

The E-brake kit reuses your stock e-brake cable up to the frame mounted e-brake arm located in front of your fuel tank. The t-case e-brake is constructed of laser cut and tig welded CNC formed 1/4 plate steel. Includes all parts you will need for installation, comes with instructions.

Fits all 4 cyl. Manual Toyota t-case's. Bracket’s are designed with a skid plate below the caliper and the ends are formed and tig welded to the main plate. The box style mount helps ensure no flexing of the t-case and caliper mount. This helps eliminate wear on the pads as well as possible stress on the t case itself. May not fit with all aftermarket t-case crossmembers.

Please note: 79-83 will require swapping to large 10mm bolt pattern flanges.  Due to many variations in Skid plates, transfer case combination,motor and trans mounts, fuel lines closest to rotor of t case e-brake may need to be relocated to clear. This is very common on 4 runners where the body is lower for rear passenger foot well. Depending on how much t case skid plate lifts the transfer case, trimming and boxing of floorboard may be required.

Instructions:

Installation of the t case e-brake requires you remove the t case output flange and remove the dust cover to fit rotor to back side of flange.

After removing flange and dust cover install rotor to back side of flange. We use the stock drive shaft bolts to position the rotor, the rotor is tapped for 2 patterns, determine the correct pattern for your drive shaft.

 

Next remove 4 bolts on the back transfer case cover, these are the bottom 2 and 2 above them. There is also a 5th bolt to remove on the far outside edge of the case, use the caliper mount to determine which one if unsure. This bolt will use the included spacer. Install t case flange with rotor, then slide caliper mount and caliper up to the rotor and install new longer bolts, flat washers and lock washer. Install jam nuts to all thread, then install yoke ends to all thread. Install arm to caliper mount, position of the arm will need to be determined by the installer as to which direction the arm will point and which holes to use. You may flip the arm and use the 3 adjustable yoke holes or use the standard single hole to install on the mount. Install 2.5 x 3/8ths bolt, flat washers and locknut. It is not necessary to tighten the lock nut completely, the arm should move freely but not be loose. Install the adjustable yoke ends with all thread and jam nuts. One end will use the spring to hold the pin, the other side will use the cotter pin. The shoulder bolt will fit through the stock e brake cable eye on the end of the e-brake arm. Note: 79-83 style cable will require a loop installed with wire crimp. Final adjustment may be needed and is the responsibility of the final installer.

We have an answer for that problem, we call it the Bomb Proof Motor Mount Kit. We feel so confident about this product that we back it up with a world famous No Questions Asked Lifetime Warranty.

 

The base of the motor mount (frame side) is made out of 1/4 inch plate, while the surface plate that the motor sits on is made out of 3/8 inch material and has a class 10.9 bolt that is mechanically locked to the engine mount plate, not just threaded in. The bushings out of a high grade polyurethane for durability and years of dependability. The finish is a clear zinc plating that looks sharp and will last a lifetime. The mount holes are slotted so that the Bomb Proof Motor Mount Kit is easy to install and can be used on 3.5 inch and 3.75 inch applications. You dont even have to measure to figure out what motor you have; the Bomb Proof Motor Mount Kit just works. Note: This product may cause more vibration than the OEM rubber mounts. This is the trade-off we make when going to stronger components.

The ARB Air Locker is a driver controlled locking differential originally designed to give serious 4 wheelers the traction needed to combat extreme off road terrain. When extra traction is required, the driver activates the Air Locker via a convenient dash mounted switch. Pneumatic pressure supplied by an on board air compressor engages ARB’s patented locking mechanism within the Air Locker, thus preventing the wheels from turning independently. The Air Locker is deactivated by flicking a switch, returning the differential to normal. By far the most coveted locker in the world! Choose from front or rear lockers.

If you have a 4cyl differential, late model 50.00mm [1.969"] id carrier Bearings must be used. (ARB Part No. 160116)

RD142 Toyota Land Cruiser 9.5" Air Locker Full Floating

Please Note: The RD142 is made for all 50mm carrier bearings. If you are installing an Air Locker into an earlier model Toyota with a 45mm differential carrier bearing inside diameter then you will need to use the higher rated later model 50mm bearings: Timken # 32010X-32010X or ARB # 160116. If your OE carrier bearings have an ID of 50mm, replace them with new bearings of the same type.

Toyota Land Cruiser 9.5" Differentials (12 Bolt Full Floating. What does this mean "Full Float"?  The axle shaft is splined on both ends, the axle shaft does not support the weight of the vehicle, the bearings do- therefore, the axle "Floats" inside the axle housing.)

Please Note, this will not fit FJ80 / LX450 Front as these are 8" high pinion reverse rotation differentials. 

This locker will not work with any of the semi float c-clip rear axles!

How do I tell if I have a full floating or semi floating rear axle?  If the wheel hub is flush with the wheel it is a semi floating rear axle. If it has a hub that sticks out past the wheel then it is a full floating rear axle.  

 

For ease of install and people who are on a budget, Powertrax Lockrights are hard to beat. Of course, selectable lockers such as ARB air lockers would be much more desirable, the Lockright lockers get the job done for a fraction of the cost. Many differentials have a set of spider gears which allow the outside tire to turn faster

Longfield FJ80 Gun Drilled 30-Spline 4340 Chromoly Super Set

The Longfield™ FJ80 Gun Drilled 30-Spline Birfields are made out of 100% chromoly and are precision polished to remove any imperfections that may cause stress risers. The internals of the birfield are also made from 4340 chromoly and are dual heat treated for superior strength. The birfield has a M8 grease zerk at the end of the stub shaft and is gun drilled through the center of the birfield to allow for grease to pass through the zerk fitting and into the internals. This will save you precious time by eliminating the need to disassemble your axle just to service your birfields.

The FJ80 Gun Drilled 30-Spline Birfields also have a shallow relief near the splines on the stub shaft known as a Machined Spline Saver. The Machined Spline Saver eliminates stress concentrations caused by grooving from the tool that makes the splines on the stub shaft. The stress concentration from the spline groove is a common failure point on birfield stub shafts. The stub shaft of the Birfield has dual snap ring grooves to accommodate FJ80s with short and long drive flanges.

The axle shafts are also made out of 4340 chromoly steel.

Included in this kit is a set of new FJ80 ABS Tone Rings. This will allow you to install the Longfield™ FJ80 Gun Drilled 30-Spline Super Set on both ABS and Non-ABS FJ80 applications. No other kit on the market can compare.

Note: Included is the FJ80 Extended Dust Caps for 1990-1993 models that use short drive flanges.

These are the original forged high steer arms for Toyota Pickups and 4Runners. Each arm is pressure forged from 8620 tool steel which makes these arms incredibly strong. All mounting surfaces are machined including the split washer surface and the tie rod tapered holes, ensuring correct and positive contact between parts, preventing knuckle studs and tie rod ends from coming loose. Arms are angle compensated so that the rod ends ride at the factory designed 90 degree angle. Fits 79-85 Toyota pickup and 4Runners. Also fits 79 and later Land Cruisers with spring over conversion.

These spindles are manufactured from forged 4140 chromoly and then CNC machined for a perfect fit. Sold individually, these spindles are great when building or rebuilding a Rock Assault Housing, a Diamond Axle,an OEM axle, and Ruffstuff Specialties housings.

This is the seal that seals the front wheel bearings in the hubs against the spindle. This is not the inner axle seal. This is a seal that needs to be replaced anytime you remove your wheel bearings.

This is not a cheap seal as found in many knuckle rebuild kits, this is a high quality full steel encased, dual lip replacement.

What makes Yukon Gear's Toyota Axles Unique? These carry the same technology that has been used in the strongest axles on the market for years. Not only are these axles made with superior 4340 Heat Treated Chromoly components and metallurgy, they offer rolled splines.  

What makes rolled splines better than cut splines?  Rolled Splines are actually pressing into the material, rather than cutting against the grain of the steel.  When an axle spline is cut, it takes away the grain of the material which essentially makes the spline weaker.

These axles also incorporate the CUT TO LENGTH ability that Yukon is synonymous for.  Measure your factory axle, use a chop saw and cut the axle, and then chamfer the end of the axle.  

-Small Brake Pilot Bore (91mm) fits all pre-IFS rear axles.

-Large Brake Pilot Bore (106mm) fits all 1986 IFS and later trucks.  If you are uncertain of the axle you have, simply measure the brake drum pilot bore.

Axles are sold individually.  That way, if you want to carry a spare you don't have to buy 2 pairs.

FJ80 Knuckle Kit Hellfire Fabworks

The HellFire Knuckles are a specially made high-pressure casting. They endure several hours of a highly difficult machine process.  The original designer Billy Weiss was determined to build everything better than factory.

He addressed the high steer issue by incorporating true high steer arms with 6 bolt retention and shimless adjustment. He reinforced the knuckle in just about every way. Then he took what we've learned from the mini truck knuckles over the ages--that the Toyota steering arm mounting bolts are too close together and undersized, causing the steering arm bolts to constantly require tightening and the studs to break.

To remedy this common issue, Billy created a 6 stud mounting with sufficient space between the studs to lessen the leverage which caused loosening and breakage. Billy took this project 90% there, then we did the fine tuning to make it what it is today. We took this one step further by using more common, less expensive, and stronger Dana 60 studs. The outer four studs are Dana 60 (Grade 10.9) and the inner two are 1/2" Allen head bolts (Grade 14). The tie rod and drag link holes are tapered for FJ80 tie rod ends (TRE) but can be reamed to accept GM 1 Ton TRE's or Heim Steering. Each arm comes double tapered for left-hand and right-hand drive applications. Another great feature he added was eliminating the use of shims and going to a set screw adjustment to set preload.

These only come with 25mm Trunnion Pins and bearings. Doing this vastly increases strength and load carrying capability. This is standard and not something we charge extra to upgrade. A new lower Trunnion cap is included and the bolt holes are counterbored to protect the bolt heads against any damage. We took a great product and made it even better.

V6 Master Cylinders are a direct replacement for your 4CYL variant. With larger drums, or with larger calipers, you may be finding that the pedal wants to go all the way to the floor.   

This master cylinder may need slight readjustment of the brake lines.  It is good to note that the front hole is for the front brakes and the hole closest to the booster is for the rear brakes.

    Manufactured in the U.S. using only high-strength chromoly materials, RCV Performance Ultimate CV Axle set simply replaces your weak Nissan Patrol Y61's axle shafts with a new high-strength design. The factory axles were designed with 31 splines at the differential, and neck down to 27 Spline at the CV creating a common failure point. This axle set upgrades the weak 27 splines at the CV to a 300M 30 spline race eliminating the need to neck down the shaft.
